A Is For Alliteration
A IS FOR ALLITERATION
I made this book for my grandchildren, Adam and Jachym and their parents, Weston and Monika. The point is to name as many of the objects in the picture as you can. The answers are on the back of the page (in the book form, here they are on the next slide). The objects vary from relatively obvious to obscure. Even most adults won’t be able to name them all. So, when a parent and child go through the book, the learning is not the memorizing of the name of the object but working together to find the name (and perhaps the etymology, the correct use, the history, etc.). And to have fun.
